About

Blake is a driven law student with a strong interest in litigation. Known for his enthusiasm and eagerness to learn, he approaches every opportunity with a commitment to growth and a passion for advocacy.

Prior to attending law school, Blake earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University. He then attended University of Windsor, Faculty of Law and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in order to obtain his Dual Juris Doctor degree.

Throughout law school, Blake has immersed himself in legal advocacy through roles in student government, executive membership in a variety of clubs including Student Bar Association, and multiple competitive moot competitions in both Canada and the United States.

Blake has gained hands-on legal experience by providing litigation support at multiple legal aid clinics in Detroit, and as a legal researcher and law assistant at multiple Toronto law firms. As a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada, he has delivered detailed legal information to clients on a wide range of issues, further sharpening his legal research, written communication and problem-solving skills. Mentoring and coaching students has allowed Blake to contribute meaningfully to his law school’s community, while refining his leadership skills.

Outside of law, Blake enjoys staying active outdoors, supporting Toronto’s sports teams and spending quality time with his family.
