Celine Tuncertan is an articling student who brings a strong foundation in law, having previously worked with MBBM Lawyers LLP during her 1L and 2L years. She recently completed the combined Political Science and Juris Doctor Program in French at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, where she distinguished herself through academic excellence and active involvement in various legal and community initiatives. Her academic journey also includes an international exchange at Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium, where she further broadened her perspective on governance.
Celine’s passion for advocacy and her leadership skills have been evident throughout her involvement in the uOttawa Social Justice Society, where she organized events and led discussions on current legal and social issues. She also served as a mentor in the uOttawa Allies in Law Mentorship Program, guiding first-year law students through their transition into law school.
In addition to her legal career, Celine is an accomplished visual artist, blending creativity with legal reasoning to offer a fresh perspective on problem-solving and client advocacy. Her artistic background enhances her ability to think outside the box and approach legal challenges with innovative solutions.
Trilingual in English, French, and Turkish, Celine is adept at assisting clients across linguistic and cultural contexts. Outside of the legal profession, she is an avid enthusiast of all things outdoors, and of music and film.
