Liam is a law student with a strong interest in business law and litigation, drawn to the strategic side of advocacy and problem-solving. He approaches his work with focus and curiosity, and is motivated by opportunities that challenge him to think critically and develop practical skills.
He is currently pursuing a Dual J.D at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to law school, Liam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy and a Legal Studies Certificate from the University of Detroit Mercy, building a strong foundation in analytical thinking and legal reasoning.
During law school, Liam has been involved in the First Generation Student Association and the Black Law Students’ Association, where he contributes to student life and community-building. He also gained hands-on courtroom experience through a criminal trial summer clinic at Detroit Mercy, where he developed practical advocacy skills and a deeper understanding of litigation. Through participating in several moot competitions, Liam further refined his oral advocacy and legal analysis, ultimately confirming his interest in litigation as a career path.
Outside of academics, Liam enjoys watching football, playing basketball, and practicing martial arts.
