Tatianna is an associate lawyer whose practice focuses on insurance and commercial litigation. She acts for insurers, corporations, and other businesses in a broad range of disputes, providing strategic advice and representation from the early stages of a claim through litigation.

Her work regularly involves matters with significant financial exposure, disputed liability, competing contractual obligations, and complex insurance issues. She has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Small Claims Court.

Prior to joining MBBM Lawyers LLP, Tatianna completed her articles at a prominent downtown Toronto insurance defence firm, where she gained experience in accident benefits, motor vehicle tort, occupiers’ liability, and coverage disputes.

Tatianna holds a Bachelor of Applied Management degree, specializing in Human Resources Management, from the University of New Brunswick, and an LLB (Honours) from the University of Kent, Faculty of Law.

Before becoming a lawyer, Tatianna spent more than six years as a litigation law clerk, with experience spanning a broad range of insurance litigation matters. Earlier in her career, she worked in the banking sector, giving her practical experience with commercial operations and business considerations that continue to inform her practice.

Outside of work, Tatianna has a longstanding interest in film, television, and popular culture, with a particular fondness for UK crime and detective series. She also enjoys visiting family on the East Coast and spending time with her dogs, Honey Chandler and William.
